fighting to survive !

My Hero Academia Vol. 7 – Kohei Horikoshi

Heroes, villains, crime fighting, drama, comedy, manga, school, fiction.

Rating 9/10

Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida are fighting for their lives against Hero Killer Stain. The pro heroes arrive to help and rescue them all. When they are escorted to the hospitals, the League of Villains are in shock and retreat. They have to regroup and form a new plan. Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida are dealing with the police, since they don’t have licenses, they shouldn’t have done hero work. As a penalty they can’t tell anyone it was them that fought Stain, Endeavor takes the fame. Their classmates know the truth but keep it under wraps. Their next thing they have to worry about is their exams which forces them to be partnered up and fight one of the teachers. Unsuspecting matches are made, and this exam depends on their grades whether or not they get to go to Training Camp or not.

I did enjoy the continuation of the internship arc. I felt that this brought some characters closer together. As far as the rest of the manga volume with the League of Heroes regrouping and having to reform their plan was excellent. The artwork is so good and detailed with the fight scenes. I know I’ve mentioned how much I appreciate the artwork. Horikoshi is so good at artwork and storytelling. The pacing is just as excellent. Feels like there is no rush.
